अभी सरकार विदेशी कंपनियो को भारत में व्यापार करने की इज़ाज़त  देने पर विचार कर रही है अगर सरकार इस मकसद में कामयाब रही तो रिटेल क्षेत्र  कई सो गुना तेज़ी से फेलेगा तो बहुत  मानव संसाधन की आवश्यकता पड़ेगी ...ये विदेशी कंपनिया केवल प्रशिक्षित  व्यक्तिओं  को ही नौकरी देंगी तो आपको   इस क्षेत्र में प्रवेश पाने के लिए आप किसी भी अच्‍छी संस्‍था से रिटेल में डिग्री या डिप्‍लोमा हासिल कर सकते हैं। आपकी योग्‍यता के अनुसार कंपनी आपको किसी भी विभाग में नियुक्ति दे सकती है। आज भी करीब 12 मिलियन रिटेल आउटलेट देश भर में फैले हुए हैं।और ये बहुत तेजी से बढ रहे हैं

भारत में रिटेलिंग मार्केट का करीबन 200 मिलियन यूएस डालर का उद्योग है, इस बाजार के चार  प्रतिशत हिस्‍से को आर्गेनाइज्‍ड श्रेणी में रख सकते है।आगे ये 20 तक जा सकता है

हम मध्‍यप्रदेश के शहर इंदौर का उदाहरण लें तो अकेले इंदौर में ही 8000 करोड़ रुपए का रिटेल बाजार है। इसका कारण है, एक ही छत के नीचे सभी तरह के उत्‍पादों का मिलना। साथ ही ग्राहक आसानी से उत्‍पादों की कीमतों के बीच तुलना कर सकते हैं।
